Summary

The perspective candidate will work under the supervision of senior lab members for software tool development and testing. The individual will contribute to the testing, benchmarking, optimizing and possible developing new single cell multi-omics analysis tools on public and lab generated single cell omics data. As an interdisciplinary research laboratory, we offer excellent training opportunity for individual with diverse background.

Job Duties

・ Develops and tests new software tools and analysis pipeline.

・ Performs data analysis on single cell omics data using the public and lab developed software tools.

・ Organizes public and lab generated single cell omics and other omics data and performs downstream analysis.

・ Leads the effort of developing software programs independently or in collaboration with other lab members.

・ Summarizes the data, prepares figures and tables, presents scientific findings, and prepares manuscript.

Minimum Qualifications

・ MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.

・ No experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

・ The successful candidates should hold a PhD degree or equivalent in bioinformatics, biostatistics, computer science or other related disciplines.

・ Previous experience in machine learning and/or analyzing large scale next generation sequencing and/or single cell omics data is a plus.
