1170 School of Physics Postdoctoral position at the Institute of Particle and Nuclear Physics,FMP CU, in the field of theoretical nuclear physics.

ID of the position: 202309-PD-MFF-UCJF-016

Wage class: VP2

Qualificationrequirements :

Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) in a relevant area. The applicant should be experienced in theoretical nuclear physics with an emphasis on nuclear structure. Experience with nuclear microscopic models or quantum many- body computational methods is advantageous.

Further information (description):

This work will be done in the group of doc. Milan Krtička as a part of the Czech Science Foundation project 23-06439S “Collective dynamics of nuclear electromagnetic excitations”. The project is oriented to the developments of novel microscopic methods for description of nuclear collective nuclear excitations.

Expected starting date is 01.01.2024
