Post-Doc Positions In Psychology Of Transgender Health At Amsterdam Umc/Vrije University Amsterdam

There are currently several open positions on the ERC-funded project AFFIRM Relationships at Amsterdam UMC/Vrije University Amsterdam, including up to threepost-doctoral researchers. Post-doctoral researcher positions will be available for up to four years , renewable after a successful review at the end of the first year. We are seeking excellent scholars with expertise in a number of relevant disciplines, including social psychology, neuroendocrinology, epidemiology, and statistics. Researchers interested in science aimed at improving LGBTQ+ health and well-being are invited to apply; there will be opportunities to contribute to studies designed for the project as well as to pursue your own research interests related to LGBTQ+ health and well-being.

About you • A PhD degree in a field relevant to LGBTQ+ health, including but not limited to psychology, neuroscience, public health, and medical statistics; • Methodological expertise in quantitative, qualitative or mixed-methods research in the sociomedical sciences; • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; • Experience in research with members of marginalized social groups is desirable; • Knowledge of endocrinology and/or specific transgender health issues is desirable.
