Postdoc position is available immediately in the Liu lab for highly motivated candidate to join our team in the Lemole Center for Integrated Lymphatics Research in the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences of Temple University. Research in the Liu lab is focusing on understanding the development and the function roles of lymphatic vasculature in cardiovascular health and disease. We use a variety of genetic mouse models lacking/gaining lymphatic function, in combination with high-throughput sequencing, state-of-the-art imaging to dissect the molecular and cellular mechanisms how cardiac lymphatics regulate cardiac repair. Information related to the current ongoing projects can be found from the recent publication (Nature 2020, 588, 705711). Successful applicants will be immersed in the interdisciplinary research environment and will receive tremendous academic supports from the PI and the department.

Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) degree or should be close to obtaining the doctoral degree. Highly motivated postdoc candidate with a strong background in cardiovascular biology, developmental biology, cell biology or a related field is preferred.
